Each 2021 Morgan Silver Dollar Coin available here at JM Bullion arrives in a plastic slab with a perfect grade from the NGC. Mint State 70 coins exhibit full, original mint luster and come with no detractions of any kind. First Day of Issue coins are those the NGC receives for certification within 24 hours of release from the US Mint.
The Philadelphia Mint issued three versions of the 2021 Morgan Dollar. Two of the issues it struck had honorary privy marks celebrating the contributions of now-defunct US Mint facilities that historically issued the Morgan Dollars. These mints were the New Orleans and Carson City locations, with the Philadelphia coins featuring O and CC privy marks, respectively. This Philadelphia Mint has no mint mark and honors the Philadelphia Mint’s own role in coining Morgan Dollars.
The obverse of these 2021 Morgan Silver Dollars comes with a left-profile portrait of Liberty. Inspired by the Greco-Roman visuals of the day, this bust of the allegory includes a Phrygian cap, a laurel wreath, and a coronet crown.
On the reverse side of 2021 Morgan Dollar Coins is the heraldic eagle of the United States. Both this design and the obverse design were created by George T. Morgan. This image shows the bald eagle as it spreads its wings and clutches the arrows of war and olive branch of peace in its talons. Beneath the bird, you will notice an oak-and-laurel wreath with a ribbon at the center to connect the two halves.
