The Mexican Mint issues the Mexican Silver Libertad coins in Brilliant Uncirculated and Proof versions on an annual basis. In the 1990s, the series gained fractional-ounce weights in both versions of the silver coin. In 1991, the BU coins gained four fractional-ounce coins, and in 1992 the same four weights were introduced in the proof series. Right now, 2021 1/10 oz Proof Mexican Silver Libertad Coins are available to purchase online from JM Bullion.

The Mexican Mint introduced fractional-ounce coins in 1991 and 1992. In 1991, the Mexican Mint introduced 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/10 oz, and 1/20 oz silver coins in the BU version of the Libertad coins, and then introduced all four of those same weights in the proof collection in 1992. Other introductions over time included the 2 oz and 5 oz coins in 1996 and the 1 kilo coin in 2002.
On the obverse side of 2021 1/10 oz Proof Mexican Libertad Silver Coins, you will find the Mexican coat of arms. The national emblem is representative of the federal government of Mexico and comes with a depiction of a Mexican golden eagle on a prickly pear cactus. The eagle is using its talons and beak to try and devour a rattlesnake. The design includes an oak-and-laurel wreath below the seal, with the nation of issue inscribed above in Spanish.
The reverse field of the 2021 Proof Mexican Libertad Silver Coins includes a vision of the statue of Winged Victory. The statue of Winged Victory was commissioned in 1910 by the government to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the start of the nation’s war for independence from Spain. Upon completion of the Mexican Independence Victory Column in 1921, the statue was moved to the top of the column towering over Mexico City.
