The release of 2020-W V75 Privy Proof American Gold Eagle Coin honors the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II. The Proof Gold Eagle release featured an original mintage of 1,945 coins, an honorary mintage reflecting the final year of World War II. The coins have a V75 Privy present on the obverse that takes the shape of the Rainbow Pool, a reflecting pool around which the National World War II Memorial was built. The inside of the privy mark includes an inscription of “V75.”
