Italia is shown on the left as she leans against a pedestal and wears the famed wall crown that dates back more than 2,000 years in depictions of Italia. Germania stands near Italia and extends her right hand to the shoulder of Italia as a symbol of warmth and peace.
The reverse field of 2020 5 oz Germania Italia & Germania Silver Rounds comes with a depiction of the Germania Mint coat of arms. The seal features a quartered shield with a double-headed eagle, checkered field, ribbon with flowers, and a wild boar in the quadrants. The crowned shield is flanked by an oak wreath.
