The Bicephalous Eagle is a two-headed eagle. The two-headed eagle is the Roman mythological symbol for Janus, the god of all origins. Janus is the guardian of doors, bridges, gates, and passages. The Bicephalous Eagle’s two heads each face different directions, symbolizing both the past and future.
This round set contains two rounds with the same obverse and reverse designs. However, one round features a red Fafnir, while the other is green. Both rounds are gilded.
