From 2010 to 2021, the United States Mint introduced 56 different coin designs in a silver bullion series known as America the Beautiful. The designs honored all 50 US states, five overseas territories, and the District of Columbia. Each of those designs also featured on circulation quarters from the US Mint. Coin Set Highlights:
The 2019 release of ATB Coins was the second-to-last full release of five designs. The sites chosen in each state represent national parks, historic monuments, and other important sites reflecting the history of that individual state or territory.
All of the 2019 US Mint Proof America the Beautiful Quarter Sets come with plastic holders that contain all five coins. The coins remain in good condition, though it is important to note that the outer packaging may show signs of wear and tear. Each coin is a circulation piece that was struck to proof standards by the US Mint. As a result, each one has frosted devices with mirrored fields.
On the obverse of each 2019 US Mint Proof ATB Quarter in this set, you will find a left-profile bust of President George Washington. Designed in 1932 by John Flanagan, this image has featured on the quarter since that time. It debuted that year to mark the centennial of Washington’s birth.
The reverse of each of the coins in the 2019 US Mint Proof America the Beautiful Quarter Set includes designs that honor Lowell National Historical Park (Massachusetts), American Memorial Park (Northern Mariana Islands), War in the Pacific National Historical Park (Guam), San Antonio Missions National Historical Park (Texas), and Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness (Idaho).
