Chinese Silver Pandas are a popular choice among investors who buy silver. This coveted coin has government-backed silver content and purity with a new design available on the obverse each year that attracts both investors and collectors to this series. The 2019 30 Gram Chinese Silver Panda Coin is currently available to you for purchase online from JM Bullion with PCGS certification.
Coin Highlights:
The Chinese Mint first issued the Silver Panda in 1983, but for the first three years, the coin was offered as a proof quality specimen with .900 silver content and a weight well below 1 Troy oz at 27 Grams in total. There was no Silver Panda in 1986 and the 1987 issue was again a proof-quality coin with 1 Troy oz of .925 silver.
It wasn’t until 1989 that the Chinese Mint introduced a reliable Chinese Silver Panda coin with a standardized 1 Troy oz weight and a purity of .999 silver. Other than the design on the obverse, nothing would change in the series until the release of the 2016 Silver Pandas and the introduction of new Gram weights.
On the obverse of 2019 30 Gram Chinese Silver Panda Coins is the image of a Giant Panda family. In this design, a large mother panda holds her young cub wrapped in her arms as the two gaze at each other with a sense of love.
The reverse of 2019 Silver Panda Coins continues with the use of the Temple of Heaven design. The Temple of Heaven complex is located in central Beijing and was constructed between 1406 and 1420. The building featured here is the primary structure in the complex and is known as the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests.
These 2019 30 Gram Chinese Silver Panda Coins are near-perfect specimens with a Mint State 69 grade from the PCGS. Coins in this condition have full, original mint luster and a maximum of two minor detracting flaws. The coins here feature only minuscule contact marks or hairlines. The included First Strike label means the coins were received for certification within the first 30 days of release from the Chinese Mint.
