The Australian Silver Kookaburra coin program largely consists of three coins for investors to choose from as they buy silver. Right now, 2019 10 oz Australian Silver Kookaburra Coins are available to purchase online from JM Bullion.

The coins in the 10 oz weight option are struck with an unlimited mintage figure, but this is confined to a period of no more than 12 months. During this time, as long as demand persists the Perth Mint will strike the coins.
As of 2018, the Australian Silver Kookaburra coin features .9999 pure silver content. Initially available in .999 pure silver, the Silver Kookaburra and Silver Koala were upgraded to .9999 pure silver following the popular reception of the 2016 Australian Silver Kangaroo, the first-ever .9999 pure silver bullion coin from the mint.
On the obverse of 2019 10 oz Australian Silver Kookaburra Coins is a right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. This is the sixth portrait of Her Majesty to feature on Australian coins since 1952 and is based on the artwork Jody Clark created for the Royal Mint of England in 2016 as the fifth-generation portrait of the Queen on that nation’s coinage.
This is the first time since 1966 that the Queen’s effigy has featured on the face of Australian coinage with her shoulders and neckline visible. She wears both the Royal Diadem crown in this design and the Victorian coronation necklace.
On the reverse of 2019 Australian Silver Kookaburra Coins, you’ll find the image of a single kookaburra. This largest member of the kingfisher species is depicted sitting on the branch of a tree which has sunk into a lake. As the sun sets across the waters, the rays of the dimming sun reflect off the rippling waters of the lake.
