This creature is often depicted as an antelope- or goat-like beast with twisting horns and the tusks of a boar. The horns often change depending on the creator of the image, with some even depicted the horns twisting off in opposite directions.
Lady Margaret Beaufort was the lone heir of John Beaufort, Duke of Somerset. Her second marriage, to Edmund Tudor, resulted in a son. That son became King Henry VII in 1485 and he bore his mothers coat of arms, bringing the Yale to the coat of arms of the royal family. Lady Margaret is the mother of Henry VII, grandmother of Henry VIII, and great-grandmother of Elizabeth I.
