The Canadian Silver Maple Leaf is one of the world’s most popular silver bullion coins. It is outpaced in mintage figures in any given year only by the American Silver Eagle coin. Popular with investors, the Silver Maple Leaf was the first coin to offer .9999 purity in a silver bullion product. Today, 2019 1 oz Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Coins are available with a gilded finish at JM Bullion.
Coin Highlights:
Canadian Silver Maple Leaf coins debuted from the Royal Canadian Mint in 1988 alongside the Platinum Maple Leaf coin. The Silver Maple Leaf has grown to become one of the hottest commodities in the world due to both its beautiful design and the RCM’s use of .9999 pure silver content in the coins.
All of these 2019 1 oz Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Coins available to you are housed in protective capsules. The coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and are bullion versions of the coin with a special gilded application. The use of 24-karat gold on the reverse design elements adds visual contrast to the finish of the coins and provides a collectible element to the series.
On the reverse side of 2019 Silver Maple Leaf Gilded Coins is the image of the sugar maple leaf. This design was originally created in 1979 by Walter Ott for the Gold Maple Leaf and continues in use to this day on all four metallic versions of the Canadian Maple Leaf coinage. Only the beautiful sugar maple leaf has a thin layer of 24-karat gold applied on this side of the coin. The remaining inscriptions are not gilded. The RCM’s laser-etched maple leaf privy is featured to the lower-right of the sugar maple leaf.
The obverse of 2019 1 oz Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Gilded Coins includes the right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. This side has no gilded features to it, just the fourth-generation portrait of Her Majesty. This is just the second monarch portrait created by a Canadian artist and the first since Elizabeth II’s father, George VI, to depict the monarch without a crown.
