The White Falcon of the Plantagenets belongs to one of England’s longest-reigning houses. The Plantagenets actually originated in France and came to power in England with the accession of King Henry II to the throne. The family would hold the throne through the beginning of Henry II’s rule in 1154 to 1485 when King Richard III died in battle.
