Through the 2019 release of the American Palladium Eagle, the United States Mint has issued three different versions of the American Palladium Eagle and never repeated the program yet. The 2019 coin offered up a reverse proof with a mintage double the previous issues at 30,000 coins.

The obverse field of 2018 Proof American Palladium Eagle coins includes a left-profile portrait of Liberty. Designed in 1916, this bust of Liberty with a winged Phrygian cap was created by Adolph A. Weinman and featured on the US dime until 1944.
On the reverse side of 2018-W 1 oz Proof American Palladium Eagle coins is a depiction of the American bald eagle. The eagle is perched on the edge of a cliff clutching a small sapling growing from a crack in the rocks.
