2018 Burnished American Silver Eagles mark the 10^th-ever release of this unique collectible coin. The burnished coins are specially treated from the moment silver blanks arrive at the US Mint. The blanks are polished in a drum to enhance the luster and then struck with a slow press using high pressure.
