The obverse of all American Gold Eagle Coins includes the iconic image of Liberty as she strides forth from the nations capital. Visible at her feet is the US Capitol Building, and her free figure wears no crown and has hair that flows with the wind. She holds her torch high in her right hand with an olive branch of peace in her left.
On the reverse of 2018 oz American Gold Eagle Coins youll find Miley Busieks contribution to the series. A talented artist with numerous public and private works in her portfolio, Busiek created this image of a family of bald eagles in their nest exclusively for the American Gold Eagle series in 1986.
