The obverse side of 2017 Reverse Proof Mexican Silver Libertads comes with a depiction of 11 different versions of the coat of arms of Mexico. At the center, you will find the modern seal for the nation. Around the edge of the design field, there are 10 historic versions of the seal. The oldest of these is at the top of the coin’s field and was featured in the Aztec’s Codex Mendoza in 1524.
On the reverse field of 2017 5 oz Reverse Proof Silver Libertad Coins, you will find the image of Winged Victory. This female allegory is based on the goddess Nike, or Victoria, and depicts a winged woman with a laurel wreath in one hand and a set of broken chains in the other.
