Each of the 2017 5 oz Colorized ATB Ozark National Scenic Riverways Silver Coins in this listing are in BU condition. Ozark National Scenic Riverways is a national park located in the Ozarks of southeastern Missouri. The riverway itself runs through four counties, in two distinct river branches, in Missouri including Shannon, Carter, Dent, and Texas. The park is administered by the National Park Service and was established by Act of Congress on August 27, 1964.
The reverse of all 2017 5 oz Colorized ATB Ozark National Scenic Riverways Silver Coins features a river winding through beautiful woodlands with a wooden home in the background. Engravings include the name of the park, representative state, “E Pluribus Unum,” and the year of issue for the coins.
On the obverse of all America the Beautiful quarters you’ll find the image of the nation’s greatest Founding Father, George Washington. The longest-running coin design in American history, Washington’s left-profile portrait was adopted on the quarter in 1932 on the 200th anniversary of his birthday and remains there to this day.
These beautiful colorized coins feature colorized lacquer layers on the reverse side of the coin. Beautiful hues of blue, green, and natural browns bring the riverway scenery to life on the coin’s reverse face and were applied by Emporium Hamburg.
No coins originate from the United States Mint with colorization features included. The workers at Emporium Hamburg, an authorized German coin dealer, added the coloration to these coins for enhanced visual beauty and collectible value.
