In this special 2017 1 oz Australian Silver Rooster 4-Coin Type Set Collection, you have a limited opportunity to purchase the 2017 Year of the Rooster silver coin from the Perth Mint in four different types.
Included in this set is a 2017 Australian Silver Rooster coin from the standard proof and bullion issues, as well as a silver coin with a 24-karat gilded finish and a brilliantly colorized silver proof coin that brings the Year of the Rooster design to life.
On the reverse of the 2017 1 oz Australian Silver Rooster coins in this Type Set Collection, you’ll find the exclusive Year of the Rooster design. This features a male rooster standing on one leg, head up and alert as a hen and three chicks peck the ground for any food. The gilded version in this collection features a 24-karat gold finish on only the rooster, with the colorized coin bringing the rooster, hen, and chicks to life with brilliant real-life colors.
The obverse of each of the 2017 Australian Silver Rooster coin has the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty has featured on the obverse of Australian coinage since she ascended to the throne in 1952, and this depiction is the fourth-generation image of the Queen. It was created in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley.
Each 2017 1 oz Australian Silver Rooster 4-Coin Type Set Collection ships with all four coins inside of a Perth Mint display box, and includes a Year of the Rooster themed shipper with full-color artwork.
