The Perth Mint offers its popular Silver Kookaburra coins with unique privy marks for certain date marks. This first started with 2011 when the Silver Koala received a privy mark and the Silver Kookaburra got its first privy mark coin in 2012 with a Lunar Series II dragon privy. Today, 2017 1 oz Australian Silver Kookaburra Rooster Privy Coins are available to you online from JM Bullion.

On the reverse of 2017 Australian Silver Kookaburra Rooster Privy Coins is the image of two kookaburras. The largest member of the kingfisher species, these kookaburras are depicted sitting together on the top of a wooden fence. You can see the details in the design down to the grain of the wood used in the fencing and the flathead screws that hold it in place. Just off the beak of the larger kookaburra and above the head of the smaller one, there is a small Rooster Privy that features a rooster in left-profile as it greets a new day with its squawk.
The obverse of 2017 1 oz Australian Silver Kookaburra coins includes the right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is featured here in the fourth-generation British coin design created in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley. This was the fifth design used on Australian coins and remained in circulation through 2018.
