The reverse features the Somali coat of arms. In the image, a heraldic shield is flanked on both sides by a leopard. The shield itself features a single star set against a background of horizontal lines. Engravings include “Somali Republic” above, the year of minting on each side of the coat of arms, and the face value below.
The Bavarian State Mint is a state-of-the-art facility located in Munich, Germany. The facility is operated by the government of the Free State of Bavaria, and is one of the five mints in the official German Mint system.
