Harpers Ferry National Historical Park was once the site of a federal armory. In the lead up the US Civil War, abolitionist John Brown led a raid on the site that resulted in his group capturing the federal armory. In an odd twist that would show up later, US Marines under the guidance of Robert E. Lee would retake the site for the United States Military. 

All of these 2016 5 oz ATB Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Silver Coins are available to you in near-perfect condition. The coins are held in plastic slabs and come with Mint State 69 grades. Coins in this condition have full, original mint luster and no more than two minor detracting flaws. Those flaws must be located outside the primary focal points of the coin and are limited in nature to minuscule contact marks or hairlines. The DMPL designation means these BU specimens have deeply-mirrored, proof-like visuals.
