Canadian Maple Leaf coins are stunning in their own right. The design sets used on these coins have remained the same since the gold version was introduced in 1979, and the silver in 1988. Today, JM Bullion has the Canadian Silver Maple Leaf with a special wolf privy mark as part of the Canadian Wildlife Series of Maple Leaf coins.
Each 2016 1 oz. Wolf Privy Canadian Silver Maple Leaf in this listing earned a near-perfect Proof 69 grade from the NGC. Coins in this condition have their full, original mint luster and no more than two minor detracting flaws. As part of the Early Release Series, these coins were packaged and shipped to an NGC depository within 30 days of the coins release.
These coins all feature a unique reverse proof finish. On a reverse proof coin, the primary design field has a deeply-mirrored, clear finish while the background field has a strong, frosted finish. Each of these coins features a unique wolf privy mark, and has a limited mintage for each privy of just 50,000 coins in total.
On the reverse face is the Maple Leaf design, with a special wolf privy mark in the bottom left designed by Canadian artist Pierre Leduc. The obverse bears the familiar image of Queen Elizabeth II in right-profile relief.
