The Canadian Silver Maple Leaf is one of the most visible, high-profile bullion coins in the world today. What makes the Canadian Silver Maple Leaf different is the variety of coins available in the program, in particular the number of privy mark coins. The Wild Canada privy mark Silver Maple Leafs are now available, and the 2016 Grizzly Privy Canadian Silver Maple Leaf is available today on JM Bullion.

Each of the 2016 Grizzly Privy Canadian Silver Maple Leaf coins available here today earned a near-perfect certification from the NGC. Coins in this condition exhibit full, original mint luster, but also bear a maximum of two minor detracting flaws.
Early Release coins must arrive at the NGC or an NGC-approved depository within 30 days of the release date set for the issue year by the Royal Canadian Mint. These Canadian Silver Maple Leaf coins also have a unique reverse proof finish, which includes a deeply-mirrored finish to the design set, with a strong, frosted background.
The Canadian Wildlife Series of bullion coins from the Royal Canadian Mint debuted in 2011, running through 2013. The first coin in that series was the wolf, followed by the grizzly bear. Now, those species are returning in the Wild Canada Series, a six-coin Canadian Silver Maple Leaf series with privy marks representing the animals from the original Canadian Wildlife Series.
On the reverse of this coin you’ll find the traditional sugar maple leaf design in the center, surrounded by engravings of the nation of issue, purity of the coin, weight and metal content. Additionally, there is a grizzly privy mark to the lower left of the maple leaf design.
The obverse features the right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II created in 2003 by Susanna Blunt. This particular depiction is a third-generation image of Her Majesty for Canadian coins.
