The obverse of 2016 1 oz Silver Lunar Monkey Lion Privy Coins comes with the fifth-generation bust of Queen Elizabeth II on Australian coins. Designed in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley, this right-profile relief depicts Her Majesty with the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara.
On the reverse of 2016 Australian Silver Lunar Monkey Lion Privy Coins, you will find a depiction of two monkeys seated on a tree branch. One of the monkeys is clutching a peach in its paw, a symbol of longevity and immortality. The lion privy mark on this side showcases a male lion with a large mane.
