In 1996, Perth Mint launched the Lunar Series of coins representing the animals from the Zodiac. In Chinese culture, the Zodiac is referred to as the Lunar Calendar. The term Zodiac is a Western interpretation of the word Shengxiao, which translates literally as birth likeness. It is said that individuals born under the sign of a particular animal share traits and behaviors with that creature.
With 2016 marking the Year of the Monkey, those born under this sign will share its intelligence, ambition, and curious nature. The all-new 2016 1/20 oz. Australian Gold Monkey Coin features a brand-new reverse design from artists Ing Ing Jong.
On the reverse side of the 2016 1/20 oz Australian Gold Monkey Coin is the image of a lone monkey sitting on a tree branch, with its tail curled up behind it and a single peach hanging from the tree. The design on the Gold Monkey shares characteristics with its silver counterpart, which features two monkeys in a peach tree.
The obverse side of the coin bears the fourth-generation image of Queen Elizabeth II from Ian Rank-Broadley. While the Royal Mint in London announced a new fifth-generation portrait in 2015, the Perth Mint is sticking to Rank-Broadleys image for consistency on Lunar Series II coins.
Perth Mint is located in Perth, Western Australia. Originally founded as part of the British Royal Mint during Australias colonial period, the British ceded control of the facility to the state government in Western Australia in 1970.

We recommend you refuse any shipment that appears to be damaged or tampered with as the shipping insurance ends once signed for and/or delivered. When refused, the package(s) will return to JM Bullion for inspection. If you have taken possession of a damaged or tampered package, please save all packaging and contact JM Bullion at1-800-276-6508 within 48 hours for further instructions. Failure to notify us of damage or tampering within 48 hours fromsignatureor delivery date may impact our ability to cover your claim.
In the event, however unlikely, that your order is lost during transit we ask that you contact JM Bullion immediately. Once you contact us, we can begin the claims process. In accordance with our Terms and Conditions, you have a maximum of 3 days (72 hours) from the anticipated delivery date to contact us regarding orders that were lost during transit. If your items cannot be recovered, you are entitled to a reimbursement. Assuming you contact us within 3 days (72 hours), you are entitled to a full reimbursement of your loss in accordance with the specific shippers insurance policy.
Orders under $1000 will not require a signature unless that option is selected and paid for at checkout. Orders over $1000 will always require a signature for delivery.
Though unlikely, if your order is damaged during transit and/or any items are missing we require you to contact JM Bullion immediately so we can begin the claims process. If you have taken possession of a shipment that is damaged and/or is missing items, you have 2 days (48 hours) from the date of delivery to contact us as stated in our Terms and Conditions.

As part of the claims process at JM Bullion, we require customers to file a police report with local law enforcement and provide documentation of said report to us. If you have not previously filed a police report, we can help provide you with some basic how-to steps. First and foremost, note there are three options available in many jurisdictions:
Step 1: Locate Nearest Department
You should file a police report with the nearest, appropriate law enforcement agency. If you live within city limits, your local police department is the proper authority to file a report with. If you live outside established city limits, the local sheriffs department may have jurisdiction. You can locate the proper department by conducting an online search or calling 311 (information), if that service is available in your area.
Step 2: Provide Detailed Information
Whether you file a report in person, over the phone, or online, make sure that you provide as much detail about the incident as possible. When it involves property loss or damage, make sure to provide relevant financial information as well.
Step 3: Obtain a Copy of the Report
When it comes to filing a claim with JM Bullion, we require a copy of the police report. If you filed a report in person, you can obtain a written copy immediately or get a case number and retrieve a copy of the report when its ready.
When you file a report on the phone or online, make sure to provide contact information such as a telephone number and email address so you can receive a copy of the report.
If you file a report online, you can often print a copy of your report instantly upon submitting the paperwork online. Additionally, you may find that some jurisdictions do not allow you to file a report over the phone. If you need further details on filing a report, you should call your local law enforcement department or 311 for assistance in starting your police report.
Depending on your method of payment, it is possible to have your order shipped to an address other than your billing address. If you pay with paper check, bank wire, ACH, Ethereum, Ripple, or bitcoin, you may have your order shipped wherever you please, with two exceptionsUPS locations and mail forwarding locations. If you pay with a credit/debit card, it depends on your order history. If you pay via PayPal, your order must ship to a PayPal Verified address.

You may choose how your order is shipped during the checkout process. In the last section of the checkout page, 4 Shipping Method, you will see the available shipping options for your order. If your purchase is eligible for free shipping, the pre-selected option will be base shipping, which is either USPS or UPS at our choice. If you would like to upgrade your shipping, you may choose one of the other options for a small fee. Simply click on the circle next to the shipping method you desire, and your order will be shipped via that method.
Unfortunately, due to the way insurance is applied to an order, everything must ship at the same time (i.e., in-stock items must await shipment until all presale items have arrived). Your order will ship in its entirety within 24-72 hours of our receiving the presale item. An email notification will be sent when your order ships.
We utilize UPS for all buyback shipments. All parcels must be either picked up by UPS or delivered to a UPS Customer Center. The UPS Store is not the same as a UPS Customer Center. We cannot guarantee liability if the parcel is dropped off at a UPS Store, UPS Access Point, UPS Drop Box, or UPS Authorized Service Providers.
Alternatively, you can ship your order on your own. If you choose to do so, we strongly recommend sending your items via USPS Registered Mail (Signature Required) and purchase insurance to cover the full amount of your items. Please be advised that it may be faster and more cost-effective to ship your order using our prepaid UPS label than sending your items via USPS Registered Mail (Signature Requied).
Safe Shipping and Packaging Checklist
We do not ship to US territories. Due to special requirements set by the postal systems, we are unable to ship outside of U.S. states.
All UPS shipments ship with a No Will Call restriction, meaning the package cannot be picked up from a UPS location or just left at the delivery address. This is a precaution to prevent orders from being fraudulently intercepted.
UPS will make three delivery attempts. If nobody is available at the delivery address to sign and accept delivery, the package will be returned to us.
All orders will ship from our warehouse in Las Vegas, Nevada. We mask our return address on all packages as to not give away the contents of the package.
No, we do not. The costs in shipping to these places is extremely prohibitive, so we utilize USPS on all shipments.
Yes! When products are shipped via the United States Postal Service, we can ship to a P.O. Box.
No. UPS 3-Day Air service excludes shipments to UPS Stores, as well as Alaska, Hawaii, APO addresses, and P.O. Boxes.
JM Bullion fully insures all of its shipments. Should anything happen while your package is in transit to you, it will be covered by our insurance policy. However, we will not accept responsibility if you have left instructions with any carriers or delivery services to leave parcels unattended for you without the need for a signature, or if you have given the carrier instructions to leave your package with anyone other than the addressee. This includes but is not limited to a building manager, neighbor, a business mailroom, drop-off location such as Mail Boxes etc., The UPS Store, the Military Postal Service, etc. Additionally, we will not assume responsibility for packages that are signed for by apartment/complex building management, a business mailroom, the Military Postal Service or any person(s) that are not the addressee listed on the order.
When we ship to you, if metals are lost or damaged in transit, it is our responsibility to pursue any claim with the insurance company. If we determine the package is lost or damaged, we file a claim. We reserve the right to re-ship your items or refund your money at our discretion.
