The United States Mint has released a brand-new coin that features inspiring new designs. Lady Liberty and the bald eagle have been symbols of the United States for more than 100 years, and now the two icons have received a facelift on the all-new 2015-W 1 oz High Relief Gold Liberty Coin, available right now through JM Bullion.
Coin Highlights:
2015 1 oz High Relief Gold Liberty Coins are the first gold coins from the United States Mint produced with a $100 face value. The Gold Liberty Coin’s high relief striking builds upon the success of the 2009 Ultra High Relief Double Eagle Gold Coin, and brings modern visions of Liberty and the bald eagle to the face of American coining.
Each of the coins available in this JM Bullion product listing features an MS70 grade from the PCGS. Coins with this grade have their full, original luster, and no detracting flaws of any kind. As part of the First Strike Series, these coins were shipped to the PCGS depository within the first 30 days of the coin's release date.
On the obverse face of each coin is the image of Lady Liberty. With a youthful appearance and modern lines, she is featured holding her iconic torch in her right hand, and the American flag in her left. The image was designed by Justin Kunz of the United States Mint Artistic Infusion Program.
The reverse images features the bald eagle in stunning detail as it flies through the skies with an olive branch in its talons. Created by Paul Balan of the Artistic Infusion Program, the image was engraved for the 2015 High Relief Gold Liberty Coin by Don Everhart.
