Each of the 25 coins in the mint tube is available to you in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Coins in BU condition show no signs of wear and tear, but may have spotted surfaces, breaks in luster, or contact marks from striking.
On the obverse side of each coin is the image of the statue of Winged Victory, the name for the statue of the angel of independence that was erected in the center of Mexico City in 1920. The reverse side of each features the modern coat of arms for Mexico in the center, surrounded by 10 historic versions of the seal used by the nation since its independence from Spain.
The Mexican Mint produces these coins each year under the direction of Banco de Mexico. Founded in 1535, the Mexican Mint is the oldest operating facility in North America.
