The 2014 Canadian Eastern Meadowlark Coin has been produced by the Royal Canadian Mint as part of their Birds of Canada series. Each coin has been minted in Cupronickel and assigned a 25¢ legal tender value in Canada. Available in brilliant uncirculated condition with a “specimen” finish, these coins will ship in their RCM clamshell display box with a numbered COA.
Canada is a vast country, but much of its inhabitants are not walking on two legs and driving cars. Rather, Canada is dominated by wildlife, much of which is unique, interesting, and unlike what you will find in other parts of the world. Knowing this, it really shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that the Royal Canadian Mint produces coins which celebrate the rich wildlife diversity in Canada. The 2014 Canadian Eastern Meadowlark Coin is a perfect example of this.
The 2014 Canadian Eastern Meadowlark Coin is not actually composed of any silver, but is instead made up of copper and nickel. The coin’s design is colorized and features immense amounts of detail. The reverse side is dominated by the central image of a Canadian Meadowlark perched upon what appears to be a fencepost and chirping. Wildflowers are springing up on either side of the meadowlark while, in the distance, a vast meadow can be easily identified. Surrounding the central image is an inscription which reads “Canada” as well as “25 cents 2014.” The coin’s obverse features a depiction of Queen Elizabeth II with inscriptions reading “Elizabeth II” and “DG Regina.”
When you purchase the 2014 25¢ Canadian Eastern Meadowlark coin, it will be shipped to you in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and in its original mint packaging. Taking the safety and security of your order a step further, every shipment will be fully insured against damage or loss during shipping.
