Zeus is considered the King of the Gods and most powerful deity among the Olympians who rule over the cosmos from Mount Olympus. His two brothers, Poseidon and Hades, are also among the 12 Olympians and he is married to Hera, the de facto Queen of Olympus. Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades have a fractured relationship to one degree or another, but as younger beings defeated the Titans, the ruling gods of their father’s generation.

All of the 2014 2 oz Antique Tuvalu Gods of Olympus Zeus Silver Coins are high-relief specimens with greater 3D visuals on the design strike. Each coin comes with an antique polish that gives the specimens a brushed look and old-world charm. The use of rimless blanks in the production of these coins also helps to achieve the ancient look. Her Majesty is shown here in right-profile relief wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara on her head. This is the fourth-generation effigy of the Queen from the Royal Mint of England and was designed in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley.

Zeus is shown as an all-powerful being on the reverse of 2014 2 oz Antique Tuvalu Gods of Olympus Zeus Silver Coins. The King of the Gods and ruler of Mount Olympus, Zeus cuts a muscular figure in this design as he wields a lightning bolt in his left hand and holds a scepter in his right hand.
