The Texas Silver Round, crafted by Texas Precious Metals, is a popular collection of silver rounds featuring Texas-themed imagery. After showcasing the iconic cowboy in 2013, the second year of issue displays the Texas Longhorn, a popular animal associated with the state. Secure your 2014 1 oz Texas Mint Longhorn Silver Round right here, at JM Bullion.
Round Highlights:
The Texas Longhorn is an American beef cattle, characterized by its long horns, as well as being associated with the Lone Star State. These cattle were brought to the Iberian Peninsula by Spanish conquistadors back in the late 1400s. In 1995, the Texas Longhorn was designated as the official state mammal. Furthermore, the animal is the official mascot of the University of Texas.
The outline of Texas, with a lone star in the middle, appears on the obverse of the 2014 Texas Mint Longhorn Silver Round. This design element is a common obverse design for the series. Inscriptions on the obverse showcase the year of issue as well as the name of the mint.
An array of Texas Longhorns is displayed on the reverse of the 2014 1 oz Texas Mint Longhorn Round. In this design, three Longhorns are seen looking at the viewer. From the bottom of the round, we can see some bluebonnets blossoming.
Each 2014 1 oz Texas Mint Longhorn Silver Round will arrive inside a protective plastic flip. For larger orders, tubes of 25 are also available. These rounds are made from 99.99% pure silver and have a mintage of 600,000.

"Amazing design. However it arrived with a dent as if the coin was dropped on its side. I noticed it after three days of delivery and as per T&C we should report any damages within 48 hrs itseems. I will blame it on JM warehouse people for poor quality control checking. All the other coins on that order arrived perfect, so this damage was not due to shipping but the person who was packing my order."
