No America the Beautiful silver coin collection is complete without at least one of the very first silver quarters issued in the series. The 2010 5 oz ATB Hot Springs Silver Coin was issued in 2010 and is the first of the 56 designs released.
One of the common characteristics of coins in the ATB quarter series is the portrait of George Washington. This image, along with the standard inscriptions of United States of America, Quarter Dollar, Liberty and In God We Trust, appear on the obverse of all quarters in the program. The image was designed by John Flanagan for the 1932 coin and has been on the quarter ever since.
The reverse sides of the ATB coins are unique in each issue. Each state, territory and federal district in the country has a coin that represents it, and the 2010 ATB Hot Springs Silver Coin is Arkansas' entry. The image on the reverse side depicts the Hot Springs National Park headquarters building, and there's a fountain in the foreground of the design.
As far as packaging, the coin comes in a transparent plastic slab for protection. The slab contains certification labels from either NGC or PCGS. We can't guarantee which labels you'll receive or which grading house certified the coin(s) you will get. We choose coins to fill orders from the available inventory once payment clears, and this is a varied and random listing. All coins associated with the listing are graded MS69, though.
This coin has a particularly complex historic connection. The national site at Hot Springs was set up to conserve water from dozens of natural springs that were thought to offer health benefits. The area also has other historical sites, including prehistoric American Indian quarries.
These silver bullion 2010 ATB Hot Springs coins are limited in supply, and especially in this condition. So buy yours while you can! Call JM Bullion at 1-800-276-6508 or reach out via email or chat if you have any questions about ordering or about the coins in our inventory.
