Coin Highlights:
The United States Mint is known for its unique coin sets. This 11-coin set is no different! The set contains a variety of different coins that are all available as circulation versions. However, these coins feature a beautiful proof finish that gives them a mirrorlike appearance. In addition to the finish, a few of these coins also contain 90% silver. Each of the coins has also been given a face value that is fully backed by the United States government.
These sets are all used, so we don’t guarantee the condition of any packaging. The coins will ship in plastic coin holders that might show signs of wear and tear. Additionally, the original shipping sleeves and Certificates of Authenticity may be excluded from your order, or they may show signs of wear and tear. Each coin will be in good condition.
The coins in this set include a Lincoln cent, Roosevelt dime, Kennedy half dollar, Sacagawea dollar, and a few coins from a couple of the most popular coin series from the United States Mint: Westward Journey nickels and Statehood quarters. All of these coins were minted in 2004.
Five Statehood quarters from 2004 are included in this set: Michigan, Florida, Texas, Iowa, and Wisconsin. The Statehood quarters series began in 1999 and ran for 10 years, with five new releases each year to honor another US state; releases were done in the order in which the states were ratified or admitted into the Union. The designs on these quarters varies. Each state quarter features a design that is special to the state. For example, the Texas quarter features the outline of the state, the phrase “The Lone Star State,” and the iconic star.
The two Westward Journey nickels are included in this coin set: Louisiana Purchase (also called Peace Medal) and Keelboat. This series kicked off in 2004 with these two coin releases, and the other two releases came out in 2005.
