Beginning roughly 1,000 years ago, the Saxony mountain region of southeastern Germany grew into a silver trading hub. Each of the 20 Gram Geiger Square Silver Bars is uniquely packaged to help secure your investment against tampering and/or damage. All 20 Gram silver bars are available individually inside of security capsules that include a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Additionally, the 20 Gram Bars are available in bulk options of 30-bar tubes of 480-bar boxes, which include a total of 16 tubes of 30 bars each.
The security capsules, tubes, and wooden boxes all have a security label for the easy identification of tampering. Additionally, Geiger Original Bars have obverse designs minted with a pearl finish, reverse designs that have a textured, high-relief finish, unique serial numbers, and ribbed edges. All of these efforts are aimed at preventing counterfeiting of the bars.
On the obverse of the 20 Gram Geiger Square Silver Bars you’ll find the image of Schloss Guldengossa. This 18th century castle was built in the classic Baroque style and was completed in 1720. It was the first registered facility of Geiger Edelmetalle, and today serves as the corporate headquarters for the company’s operations out of Leipzig, Germany.
The reverse of the Geiger Square Silver Bar includes a repeating pattern of the LEV rhombus logo for Geiger. There is a rectangular, matte-finished section at the bottom which features the serial number of the bar. There is also a UV-coating on this side of the bar that adds another layer of security to the product. When a black light is shone upon the bars, the LEV rhombus should appear in the center and the unique serial number in the matte-finished rectangle.
Geiger Edelmetalle opened for business in 1218 in Leipzig, Germany. The region was already a hub for silver operations in the region, and today Geiger’s headquarters and state-of-the-art refining facility are both located in the area.
