The design of the Shield of St. Michael Silver Stacker is, as the name suggests, made to accommodate stacking multiples shields. The front side of the shield has a slightly domed field with 3D relief for the image of St. Michael and the other designs. On the back side of the silver shield, the matching design elements are incuse so that the obverse of one stacker can fit securely within the reverse of another.
