What sets this round apart is the design of the overall series. Available in 5 oz and 100 Gram weights in addition to this 2 oz. Scottsdale Mint achieved this by giving each round the same surface area, but different depths. A 5 oz round will interlock easily with the 2 oz round as all the contact points lineup, because only the depth of the striking is different.

On the obverse face of the 2 oz Scottsdale Stacker Silver Round you’ll find the mint logo, a stoic male lion’s face wearing a crown atop its head. This side has no engravings, and features a 3D convex striking of the lion-head logo. The only other feature is the interlocking radial lines.

The reverse side is decidedly different. You’ll find the concave, or inverse, striking of the lion’s head on the face, along with engravings that identify the round’s weight, purity, metal content, product lineup, and production mint.
