The fifth issue in the Germania Mint’s Germania Gods Series of cast silver bars features the image of Ull. Ull, sometimes spelled Ullr, was a Norse god associated with winter, hunting, and archery, and was the son of the goddess Sif and stepson of Thor. All 2 oz Germania Mint Gods Ull Cast Silver Bars are available with minimalist-designed packaging. The cast silver bar is housed in a presentation box and comes with a themed outer shipper. Each bar has a unique serial number between 1 and 999, marked as a specific number X/999. There is a Certificate of Authenticity available with each bar.
For the obverse of Germania Mint Gods Ull Cast Silver Bars, the mint features its logo with the identifying hallmarks. A simplified version of the Germania Mint emblem is stamped on this side, along with the weight, metal content, and purity. The individual serial number is also noted on this side.
In the reverse design of the 2 oz Ull Cast Silver Bar, you will find an effigy of the god known as Ull. He is depicted here against an Arctic backdrop with a battle ax in one hand and his bow in the other, while a sheaf of arrows is slung over his shoulder. According to some fragmentary myths, Ull ruled Asgard during Odin’s periodic absences, indicating his trusted position among the gods. His weapon was said to be a bow made of yew.
