The Elemetal Mint’s popular Privateer Series of ultra-high-relief silver rounds now has a brand-new product available, and it is in keeping with a popular design theme from numerous mints to date in 2016. The 2 oz Elemetal Privateer The Kraken Ultra-High Relief Silver round is now available from JM Bullion while supplies last.

The Privateer Series of silver rounds from Elemetal Mint was introduced in early 2015, and features 2 oz. silver rounds produced with a stunning ultra-high-relief finish. These silver rounds all have impressive 3D imagery celebrating a life at sea, whether it is that of legitimate sailors or scurvy pirates.
In this 4th release in the Privateer Series, one of the most fearsome monsters of the seven seas is featured in the design. The Kraken, rumored to plague oceans the world over from the tales of Odysseus in Homer’s Illiad to the tales of Caribbean pirates in the 17th and 18th centuries, is believed to lurk the depths of the ocean waiting to strike any sailors that wander across its path.
On the obverse of the 2 oz Elemetal Privateer The Kraken Ultra High Relief Silver Round you’ll find the image of a kraken’s massive tentacles emerging from the water to ensnare a passing galleon. There are no engravings on this face other than the frightening image of death that comes from the kraken.
The reverse features the common design theme of all Privateer Series rounds. In this design you’ll notice a human skull set against a backdrop of a ship’s wheel. The pirate motto “No Prey, No Pay” is found above the design, with the round’s weight, metal content, and purity struck below.
Elemetal Refining was formally founded in July 2015. It began a year earlier as a joint venture between Ohio Precious Metals, NTR Metals, and Provident Metals, with OPM taking on the mint’s official operation capacity and brand name in 2015.

Frankly, you need to have at least one in your stack. Elemetal has the right combination - low mintages, highly artistic and collectible.
