Each 2 oz. Elemetal Liberty Island Ultra High Relief Silver Round in this product listing is available to you in brand-new condition. These silver rounds are part of Elemetal Mint’s American Landmark Series, which debuted in July 2015 with the release of the Grand Canyon Silver Round.
This particular silver round commemorates the Statue of Liberty and Liberty Island. Located in Upper New York Bay, Liberty Island is home to the Statue of Liberty, which was given to the United States as a gift from the people of France in 1880. She has stood watch over America’s busiest immigrant harbor for more than a century, welcoming the world’s “tired, poor, and huddled masses.”
On the obverse of these 2 oz Elemetal Liberty Island Silver Rounds you’ll find the image of the Statue of Liberty as seen from below, gazing up at her as she holds her torch aloft. The American flag is featured in the background of the design, with “Liberty Island” engraved along the right-hand side of the round.
The reverse face bears the common imagery used on all American Landmark Series silver rounds. This design includes a geographic depiction of North America that includes detailed visuals of rivers, lakes, and mountains across the continent. “American Landmarks” is engraved above, while the weight, purity, and metal content are included below.
Elemetal Refining and Elemetal Mint exist as a cooperative effort of Ohio Precious Metals, Provident Metals, and NTR Metals. As of July 2015, OPM officially took on the brand name Elemetal Mint for production of the group’s products.

"I have to say that this LIBERTY 2 oz round is stunning and valuable. It is my top 5 designed silver round beside the 2 oz Mercury Dime. Very nice and this is my best collector's round. I will NOT sell this round even I run out of money and it feel very good in your hand. I like the ultra high relief which makes it a 3-D look. I currently have one and 2 more are on its way. You will not regret but I could not find a coin capsule that fits. Please let me know if anyone found one."
