The reverse side of 1995 1/4 Proof American Gold Eagle coins features the image of bald eagles at their nest. Created by Miley Busiek in 1986, this design depicts a young hatchling under the wing of a female in the nest. Overhead, a male eagle flies back to the nest with an olive branch in its talons.
