The 1995 release of the Proof American Silver Eagle Coin marked only the third year the Proof Silver Eagles were produced at their new home. From 1986 to 1992, the US Mint produced all American Silver Eagles at the San Francisco Mint, with the proof coins featuring an “S” mintmark. In 1993, the US Mint began to produce the Proof Silver Eagle at the Philadelphia Mint with a “P” mintmark. Right now, 1995-P Proof American Silver Eagle Coins are available to purchase online from JM Bullion with an NGC certification.

The only acceptable flaws at this certification level are minuscule contact marks or hairlines located outside the primary focal areas.
These silver coins for sale also come with a UCAM label from the NGC. Known as an ultra-cameo specimen, each one has strong, frosted design elements that combine with deeply-mirrored, clear background fields for impressive visual contrast.
The 1995 Proof American Silver Eagle release year was a unique one. These standard Proof American Silver Eagles from 1995 were part of the third-lowest mintage in program history at just 407,882 coins. Additionally, the US Mint released 30,125 Proof American Silver Eagle coins with a “W” mint mark from the West Point Mint to mark the program’s 10th anniversary.
On the obverse of all 1995 Proof American Silver Eagle coins is the vision of Liberty. This design is known as Walking Liberty and was produced by Adolph A. Weinman for a US Mint and Treasury Department design contest in 1916. Depicting Liberty walking toward the sun on the horizon with the American flag over her shoulders, it was used on the half-dollar coin from 1916 to 1947.
The reverse face of all 1995-P Proof American Silver Eagle Coins includes a vision of the heraldic eagle of the United States. This seal is as old as the US Mint itself, first appearing in US coins in 1794. This side of the coin bears the “P” mintmark from the Philadelphia Mint.
