Over the course of time, Proof American Silver Eagles have been struck by three different branches of the US Mint. The San Francisco Mint was the first to issue the coins and did so from 1986 to 1992. From 1993 to 2000, the Philadelphia Mint struck the coins. Since 2001, the West Point Mint has had the primary responsibility for issuing the coins.
All of these 1994-P 1 oz Proof American Silver Eagle Coins are available in perfect condition. PF70 coins have full, original mint luster and no detracting flaws of any kind. The coins also have ultra-cameo visuals with strong, frosted designs and deeply-mirrored, clear fields.
On the obverse of the 1994-P Proof American Silver Eagle, you will find the image of Walking Liberty. Designed in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman, this visual shows the full-length figure of Liberty in left-profile relief walking toward the sun on the horizon.
The reverse field of 1994 1 oz Proof Silver Eagle comes with an image of the heraldic eagle. This modernized version of the seal was created in 1986 by John Mercanti and comes with the image of an eagle supporting the US national shield with the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace in its talons.
