Weinman’s Walking Liberty symbolizes America’s march toward a brighter future. This Liberty design is shown walking toward the sunset donning the American flag.
John Mercanti’s modernized heraldic eagle is located on the reverse field of 1992-S Proof 1 oz Proof Silver Eagles. This modern depiction included 13 five-point stars above the eagle’s head. Identifying marks of the coin are located around this image.
1992-S 1 oz Proof American Silver Eagles in this listing will all contain a grade of PF69 from the NGC. This grade ensures that the coin is in near-perfect condition and features full, original mint luster, and no more than two minor detractions. The UCAM designation indicates proofs have strong, frosted design elements with deeply mirrored clear background fields. All coins will be shipped in an NGC protective plastic slab.
The 1993 proof version of American Silver Eagles was the last edition to be struck at the San Francisco Mint. In 1993 they were moved to the Philadelphia Mint until they found a permanent home at the West Point Mint.
