The American Silver Eagle celebrates its milestone 30th anniversary in 2016, and the United States Mint is pulling out all the stops to celebrate its most popular coin series. Over the course of the past 30 years, 31 individual American Silver Eagle bullion coins have been struck. Now, for a limited time you can purchase the 1986-2016 30th anniversary American Silver Eagle coin set with all 31 coins from JM Bullion.
Coin Set Highlights:
American Silver Eagle coins were introduced by the United States Mint in 1986 following passage of the Liberty Coin Act of 1985. The program then consisted of a 1 oz coin in both bullion and proof. Today, it includes an additional 1 oz coin available as a burnished coin, which was introduced in 2006.
The American Silver Eagle coins available to you in this product listing each have a grade of Mint State 69. Coins in this condition exhibit their full, original mint luster and feature a maximum of just two minor detracting flaws.
American Silver Eagle bullion coins are the only products in the lineup struck in each of the years of the coin’s existence. The burnished coins are just 10 years old, while the proof coins were not struck in 2009.
On the obverse you’ll find the depiction of Walking Liberty created by Adolph A. Weinman in 1916. Designed to represent the nation’s strive toward a brighter future, Walking Liberty appeared on the nation’s half-dollar coin from 1916 to 1947.
The reverse features the heraldic eagle of the United States. This image was created by former US Mint Chief Engraver John Mercanti in 1986.

"I had decided to piece together a full set of MS 69 Silver Eagles by buying them one at a time, until that is, I could no longer find a 1996 (lowest production year) at a reasonable price. Then I found this entire set at JMB which includes the 1996 MS 69 Silver Eagle (and all the others between 1986 and 2016) so I jumped at the chance before I could no longer find one at all. Although I hadn't planned on spending so much all at once, I'm glad I did. Of course, the coins are beautiful, the slabs are in great condition and the transaction went off without a hitch, as usual. That's why I am a frequent buyer at JMB. Nobody else compares."
