PLEASE NOTE – We will do our best to ship these in the PCGS 25-coin plastic bins, but it is dependent on our supply. We cannot guarantee you will receive the PCGS holders – you may receive 29 loose coins (in their PCGS slabs).
When the American Silver Eagle coin program was introduced in 1986, the series originally included bullion and proof coins. Each year since 1986 (with the exception of 2009), the US Mint has produced American Silver Eagles in both mintages. Today, you have the opportunity to purchase an American Silver Eagle Proof from every production year in this 1986-2015 Proof Set from JM Bullion.
Coin Set Highlights:
American Silver Eagle Proof coins were introduced the same year as the bullion coins. Each proof coin available in this set has the PCGS’ PR69 grade. This grade indicates a coin with its full, original luster and no more than two small blemishes. Coins with a PR69 grade have blemishes that are categorized as minor detracting flaws which are not visible within the primary visual area of the coin’s surface.
The only year not represented in this coin set is 2009 as the United States Mint did not produce any proof coins that year. Additionally, please note that this set will not include the 1995-W coin – it will include a different 1995 mint-mark. Certain years have multiple mint marks available for proof coins, so JM Bullion cannot guarantee any mint marks on the coins in this set.
American Silver Eagle Proof coins bear the same images as the bullion coins. Adolph A. Weinman’s depiction of Lady Liberty is featured on the obverse, while John Mercanti’s heraldic eagle graces the reverse side.
The United States Mint produces its American Silver Eagle Proof coins, in large part, at the West Point Mint today. This set includes a proof coin from each year of production, including the latest 2015 proof coins.
