The Peace Silver Dollar was introduced by the United States Mint in 1921, coinciding with the release of the final Morgan Silver Dollars. This new design represented the last silver dollar series ever produced by the US Mint. When the Peace Dollar series came to an end in 1935, so did the production of silver dollars. Right now, 1926-S Peace Silver Dollar Coins are available at JM Bullion.

On the obverse of the 1926-S Peace Dollar Coin, you’ll find Anthony de Francisci’s depiction of Lady Liberty. This left-profile relief of Liberty includes a radiant crown above her head, symbolizing light and freedom. The design is accompanied by the national motto and the year of issue.
The reverse side of the 1926-S Peace Silver Dollar features a bald eagle, symbolizing America’s desire for peace following World War I. Perched atop an olive branch, the eagle’s wings are at rest, gazing toward the horizon with rays of light shining in the background.
