The Morgan Silver Dollar is one of the most famous U.S. silver coins ever minted. Produced by the U.S. Mint from 1878 to 1904, and then again in 1921, the Morgan Silver Dollar is highly popular with coin collectors and precious metals investors. If you are a collector of silver coins, this is a coin that belongs in your collection!
Coin Highlights:
The Morgan Dollar gets its name from its designer, George T. Morgan. This beautiful silver coin features the profile portrait of Lady Liberty on its obverse with amazing detail. The obverse also features the phrase “E PLURIBUS UNUM” and the coin’s mint year. Also featured are 13 stars along the coin’s outer rim.
The coin’s reverse features the mighty eagle holding an olive branch and arrows in its talons. The reverse also features the inscriptions “IN GOD WE TRUST, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DOLLAR.”
Given the long history of these coins and their highly respected and symbolic design, they make an excellent addition to any coin collection or precious metals portfolio. They also make a wonderful gift.
The Morgan Silver Dollar was authorized by the Bland-Allison Act in 1873 and it remains a highly popular piece of American silver coinage today.

"The Morgan dollar coin I purchased was as advertised, VG+. I think it could be rated better."
"Considering what many dealers charge for any Morgan silver dollar, the price I paid was a deal. These coins were all 1921 dated and had 3 different mints. They were mostly a bit dirty, but were all in VG+ or better. Some were so close to AU as to be graded that way in advertising offers. I could see these coins going for $50 each or more. I have purchased from JM Bullion a number of times and this time was one of the best deals yet."
"Fantastic buy, the coin I receive was in better condition than advertised. I will be purchasing more."
"just bought 200 vg plus Morgan silver dollars --no cull, no dents or hits most above vg grade -- very surprised on condition planning on buying 300 more"
"I\'m no numismatist, but the coin I received appears to be in great shape for a circulated Morgan Dollar! Better than the picture! There are a few scratches and the background is kind of dark but virtually none of the relief or edges are worn down."
"just rec'd 20pcs of the 1921 Morgan's; supposed to be VG+. I understand due to the age there would be some deterioration but 50% are not VG+...."
"Guess I'm the only one to buy and like these? I've done a fair amount of business with JMB and referred many. Would like to believe they give me good stuff when it comes to things like this. I was very happy and just might order more of these. Wish there was more selection would like to start collecting the older ones. Also got me another 2017 Canadian Elk Gold oz., the fourth of the series to replace one I gave my daughter, and in the nick of time because they are all gone and 2014s were running +$100 over spot."
