Although not widely appreciated for its design at the time, the Morgan Silver Dollar has gone down in American history as one of the most coveted coin designs in all of American coinage. Created in 1878, this iconic design was once believed to be largely lost to history with the exception of a handful of coins in rough condition. Today, the Morgan Silver Dollar Coin is available to you online from JM Bullion.

    Coin Highlights:

    • Arrives in a protective plastic flip.
    • Contains .7734 Troy oz of actual silver content.
    • Face value of $1 (USD) is fully backed by the US government.
    • Obverse features the left-profile portrait of Liberty.
    • Reverse includes the American bald eagle.
    • Designed by George T. Morgan.

The particular Morgan Silver Dollar coins available through this product listing were struck only in 1921 by the United States Mint. The Morgan Silver Dollar was a truly unique coin in a number of ways. First and foremost, its introduction into circulation as a silver dollar coin in 1878 ended a five-year span in which no silver dollars were produced by the US Mint.

Morgan Silver Dollars were produced by the Mint from 1878 to 1904, and then production was halted coining of the Morgans after passage of a bill under the Sherman Silver Purchase Act that forced the US Mint to stop striking the coins once silver reserves purchased in the Act were depleted.

The 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar marked the reintroduction of silver dollars after World War I, but it was a short-lived return for the Morgan design. The Philadelphia Mint struck 44.69 million coins that year with no mint mark, while the Denver Mint struck 20.34 million with a D mark and the San Francisco Mint struck 21.695 million with an S mint mark.

Each of the Morgan Silver Dollar 1921 coins in this product listing are in BU condition. Coins in this condition have no signs of wear and tear, though you may notice a range of minor flaws including breaks in the luster, spotted surfaces, and contact marks from the production process at the mint.

On the obverse of the Morgan Silver Dollar is the left-profile portrait of Liberty, with 13 stars arranged around her image. The reverse includes the image of the American bald eagle clutching arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other. This design was replaced later in 1921 by the new Peace Silver Dollars.

Depending on your method of payment, it is possible to have your order shipped to an address other than your billing address. If you pay with paper check, bank wire, ACH, Ethereum, Ripple, or bitcoin, you may have your order shipped wherever you please, with two exceptionsUPS locations and mail forwarding locations. If you pay via PayPal, your order must ship to a PayPal Verified address.

How will I know when my order ships?+

We will notify you by email once your order ships. You can also check the current status by logging in to your account or using ourTrack An Orderpage.

How do I choose my shipping method?+

You may choose how your order is shipped during the checkout process. In the last section of the checkout page, 4 Shipping Method, you will see the available shipping options for your order. If your purchase is eligible for free shipping, the pre-selected option will be base shipping, which is either USPS or UPS at our choice. If you would like to upgrade your shipping, you may choose one of the other options for a small fee. Simply click on the circle next to the shipping method you desire, and your order will be shipped via that method.

How long do I have to wait for my USPS tracking to update before you will file a claim?+

USPS does not consider a package lost or stolen until fifteen (15) days have passed since the last tracking update (excluding Sundays and federal holidays). In the unlikely event your tracking does not update by the fifteenth day, we will be allowed to initiate the claims process. Prior to that, all we can do is notify USPS of the situation.

If your tracking stops updating, please contact us within five (5) business days of the last tracking update so our Claims Department can contact USPS.

If my order includes an item on presale, will the in-stock items ship first?+

Unfortunately, due to the way insurance is applied to an order, everything must ship at the same time (i.e., in-stock items must await shipment until all presale items have arrived). Your order will ship in its entirety within 24-72 hours of our receiving the presale item. An email notification will be sent when your order ships.

Do you ship to US territories?+

We do not ship to US territories. Due to special requirements set by the postal systems, we are unable to ship outside of U.S. states.

What does “No Will Call” mean?+

All UPS shipments ship with a No Will Call restriction, meaning the package cannot be picked up from a UPS location. This is a precaution to prevent orders from being fraudulently intercepted.

UPS will make three delivery attempts. If nobody is available at the delivery address to sign and accept delivery, the package will be returned to us.

Where do you ship orders from?+

All orders will ship from our warehouse in Las Vegas, Nevada. We mask our return address on all packages as to not give away the contents of the package.

Do you offer UPS shipping to Alaska and Hawaii?+

No, we do not. The costs in shipping to these places is extremely prohibitive, so we utilize USPS on all shipments.

Do we ship to P.O. Boxes?+

Yes! When products are shipped via the United States Postal Service, we can ship to a P.O. Box. Please note that insurance on shipments to P.O. Boxes ends as soon as the package shows delivered.

No. UPS 3-Day Air service excludes shipments to UPS Stores, Mail Stores, as well as Alaska, Hawaii, APO addresses, and P.O. Boxes.

Is my package insured while in transit?+
