The reverse of the 1908 Pre-33 $5 Liberty Half Eagle Coins features a heraldic eagle with a shield, arrows, and an olive branch. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is inscribed above, with FIVE D below. IN GOD WE TRUST was later added in 1866.
