Created by George T. Morgan, the Morgan Silver Dollar was launched by the United States Mint in 1878, continuing to be minted annually until 1904, with a final production in 1921. This dollar circulated through important periods in American history, including the Reconstruction Era, the Gilded Age, and into the early 20th century, leading to the Roaring 20s. Today, 1904-O Morgan Silver Dollar Coins are available at JM Bullion.

The 1904 issue of Morgan Silver Dollars marked the end of annual production for the series. From 1878 to 1904, the US Mint struck new Morgan Dollars each year. This 1904-O Morgan Dollar is also the last of the Morgan Dollars from the New Orleans Mint. This branch mint closed in 1909, meaning it was not active in 1921 when the final Morgan Dollars were struck after a 17-year hiatus.
All 1904-O Morgan Silver Dollar Coins come in a protective plastic flip. When ordering in multiples, you will receive coins in tubes of 20 if available. All coins available in this listing are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The Morgan Silver Dollar comes with 90% silver content and 10% copper for balance.
The obverse of the 1904-O Morgan Dollar Coin features Lady Liberty in a detailed left-profile relief. Morgan reportedly modeled this image after Anna Willes Williams. Liberty is depicted wearing a Phrygian cap, adorned with a laurel wreath and a coronet crown, encircled by 13 stars.
On the reverse, the 1904-O Morgan Silver Dollar showcases a heraldic eagle. Morgan’s design omits a national shield but features the American bald eagle in front-facing relief, with its wings spread and talons gripping the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace.
