More than 150 years after its introduction, the Morgan Silver Dollar remains one of the most coveted historic US coins. Produced by the United States Mint between 1878 and 1904, as well as 1921, the Morgan Silver Dollar has stood the test of time thanks to its classic Liberty design and the popularity of US silver dollars among collectors. Each of the 1900 Morgan Silver Dollar Coins offered here comes in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The coins are packaged individually in protective plastic flips with tubes possible for multiples of 20 coins. In 1900, the Morgan Dollar was issued by the Philadelphia Mint with circulation specimens and fewer than 1,000 proof versions.
The United States Mint produced a total of nearly 25 million Morgan Dollars in 1900. The New Orleans Mint produced the highest volume of coins, followed by the Philadelphia Mint with 8.83 million coins and the San Francisco Mint with 3.54 million coins.
For the obverse of 1900 Morgan Dollar Coins, you’ll find a depiction of Lady Liberty. The image of Liberty shown here was created by George T. Morgan and comes with a left-profile bust of Lady Liberty. Her figure is shown with a Phrygian cap, a laurel wreath, and a coronet crown on her head.
In the reverse design of 1900 Morgan Silver Dollars, the US Mint features another design from Morgan. This version of the heraldic eagle was unique among American coin designs, with the front-facing bald eagle not shown with a US national shield. The image includes the arrows of war and an olive branch of peace.
