A total of four branch mints across the United States issued more than 28.13 million coins in total in the Morgan Silver Dollar Series. Philadelphia struck the highest volume at 14.07 million coins in total, with New Orleans issuing 9.73 million coins, San Francisco issuing 3.2 million coins, and Carson City releasing 1.136 million coins.
All of these 1884 Morgan Silver Dollar Coins are available to you in certified condition. Mint State 64 coins have average mint luster remaining with several small contact marks clustered in groups, one or two heavier marks, and one or two small patches of hairlines.
On the obverse of 1884 Morgan Dollars, you will find a left-profile bust of Lady Liberty. The portrait shows Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap on the back of her head. In her hair, you will find the coronet crown and a laurel wreath.
The reverse side of the 1884 Morgan Silver Dollar comes with a depiction of the heraldic eagle of the United States. The image shows the bald eagle in front-facing relief with the American bald eagle clutching the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace in its talons as it spreads its wings to both sides.
